Where Am I?

Where Am I?

I'm directionally challenged.   Maybe it's because  I don't pay attention when directions are given.  Maybe I fail to focus once I'm en route.  Maybe I don't care about following directions because I'd rather forge my own way.

Take Kool Aid for instance.  Hubby has joked for years that when the boys were young, the Kool-Aid in our house never tasted the same twice because I didn't follow the directions.   And car trips?  I have, more than once, tearfully asked a gas station attendant how to get back on track!   GPS  technology has been a blessing  but that grouchy old woman's voice still says "recalculating" waay too much!

Directions are confusing to me, okay? Turn left, turn right, one cup of sugar or two...in the end, I'll get there.  But in the future, if you see a gal, fitting my description, wandering aimlessly and apparently lost, please don't give her directions.

You'd better take her by the hand and lead her home.

Enjoyed reading this blog, LOL. If you are like me, I like directions that are simple, as in just take this road for a ways until you come to the first dirt road. That I can follow. I also, suffer from a condition of having 2 lefts. As when I am ridding shotgun, you will get my arm (left) in your face to" turn here". My husband has quit asking "Don't you know your right from your left?" I rather it be, driver side or passenger side. Mr. Malone liked my driving,"I was a Rube" which I still don't know if that is even a word. I took it meant my imported status, in that I had to be bused in to school, which was 10 miles south therefore it made you one. Yes, I did drive my older brother's car, and my younger brothers' " no brakes" motor bike which you had to download the gears to stop.
I was never good at Math except Algebra, Something about it was magical. It had lines and infinity. Meaning, to me, those numbers are still out there just going and going. Plus, we worked with letters. I hate numbers except for the infinity ones that are still out since 1969. Keep writing , you could get these published,
